Hot Chocolate with Almond Milk

Note to people who are on a Salt-Free Diet :
Almond Milk contains sea salt ! Be careful and read the labels.

If, like me, your body tells you to avoid coffee, tea, dairy and soy milk, you know how difficult it is to find substitutes !

I have found something guys ! You will totally forget your cravings for a Latte

This is a Hot chocolate with Almond Milk

Please read this article http://www.marksdailyapple.com/why-you-should-eat-and-drink-high-cacao-dark-chocolate/#axzz1oTsUBtsZ, then you won't feel guilty at all when you drink this Heavenly Hot Chocolate!

If you love CHOCOLATE, I'm pretty sure you will be a fan...

To be honest, I have this hot drink almost every day ! It is so delicious that it stops all my cravings!

Ingredients, for a Large Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup of Organic Almond Milk (In Sydney, I found this brand called Pure Harvest, no sugar added)

- Hald a cup of Filtered Water

- 1 Tablespoon of Organic Unsweetened Raw Cacao Powder (easy to find in Organic Shops)

- Spices and Sweetener are optional : a pinch of ginger powder, 3 to 4 cardamom seeds(OR a pinch of ground cardamom), a pinch of Organic Stevia Powder (the Herb)

Directions
  1. Bring the water and Almond Milk with Cardamom Seeds(optional) to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. In a large glass or cup, put the raw cacao power, the ground spices, the dash of Stevia.
  3. Pour less than half of the hot mixture into your glass or cup. Make sure you do this step very slowly ! Stir the Cacao Mix Powder with a fork until completelety dissolved, then keep pouring the rest of the hot liquid into your glass.
  4. My technique is to put back this mixture into the saucepan and reheat it slightly.
  5. Remove the Cardamom Seeds with a teaspoon.
  6. Enjoy ...
What do you think ?
